NEW YORK September 7, 2011 – Introducing DESTINATION KORS – the new online lifestyle destination centered around the world of Michael Kors, curated by the designer himself.

DESTINATION KORS represents a unique innovation in the online space. One part editorial site, one part digital dashboard, DESTINATION KORS is the first of its kind to integrate all facets of a luxury brand – from the designer, to product, to e-commerce – all in a seamless, unified destination. The site will also serve as the content engine housing the brand’s digital touchpoints, such as Facebook, its popular Twitter page, and eventual retail points of sale, in an aesthetic emblematic of the Michael Kors brand. And that’s just the beginning.

DESTINATION KORS offers visitors never-before-seen content, including videos of Michael’s trips around the world, behind-the-scenes footage of his runway shows, and the premiere of his 30th anniversary celebration, starring Jennifer Hudson, Mary J. Blige, Debra Messing and more. Also watch Michael’s video collaborations with bloggers, tastemakers and influencers from various artistic disciplines.

Fans of “Project Runway” can tune in to get the exclusive scoop each week on what Michael thought of the designers. Visitors will also enjoy Michael’s personal scrapbook highlighting his travels, trip photos and inspirations of the moment. A special section is dedicated to exclusive backstage moments at the Michael Kors fashion show.

Designed in partnership with New York-based agency, VMG Creative, DESTINATION KORS is more than a website. It’s a Destination.
